ProFuturo and American Tower in Chile: a partnership that is growing stronger

To date, 55 schools, more than 5,000 students and 340 teachers have benefited from this collaboration, receiving training and support.

As part of the partnership between ProFuturo and American Tower, a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure, the results of the comprehensive teacher support model applied in schools in the Gabriela Mistral Local Service have been presented in Chile.

Magdalena Brier, CEO of ProFuturo, travelled from Spain to participate in this milestone event, which was also attended by Claudio Araya, Undersecretary of Telecommunications, and Dante Castillo, Director of Innovation at SUMMA, who shared the results of the analysis carried out in the schools participating in the partnership.

To date, these are some of the achievements:

  • 55 schools benefited
  • More than 5,000 participating students
  • More than 340 teachers trained and supported
  • Up to +12 points in SIMCE in Language and Mathematics

This alliance underscores the commitment of both organisations to addressing the educational digital divide. Its goal is to improve understanding of vulnerable school contexts in order to promote innovative teaching practices more effectively and strengthen the digital transformation of education.
