Sofía Fernández de Mesa, General Manager of ProFuturo Foundation, and Oscar León, Executive Secretary of CITEL, signed a collaboration agreement to provide quality digital education to children in Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Guyana and Jamaica. ProFuturo will offer an education proposal that is adapted and complementary to that offered by the Ministries of these Caribbean countries, focusing on the use of technology as a tool to improve educational quality.
Sofía Fernández de Mesa, General Manager of ProFuturo Foundation, and Oscar León, Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL), have signed a collaboration agreement at the headquarters of the international body in Washington DC to roll out the educational innovation programme promoted by ProFuturo in five countries of the Caribbean: Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Guyana and Jamaica, which will start this year.
In accordance with the commitment signed by both institutions, ProFuturo will offer an innovative training and support proposal adapted to the educational context of the Ministries of these Caribbean countries, using technology as a tool to improve educational quality.
