ProFuturo, the international educational innovation program using technology for social transformation launched by Fundación Telefónica and Fundación ‘la Caixa’, is unveiling a new visual identity that reflects the program’s global reach and relevance.
Since 2016, the program has helped bring quality education—supported by technology and digital tools—to particularly complex contexts in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, demonstrating that technology, when integrated with a clear pedagogical purpose, is a powerful lever for expanding opportunities and helping to transform the lives of thousands of children.
The new identity projects a more contemporary, tech-driven, and global image, in line with the program’s track record and the international scope it has achieved over the past ten years, and reflects attributes such as innovation, educational leadership, the capacity for transformation, and its commitment to creating opportunities through education.
Developed by the Prodigioso Volcán agency, the brand is evolving toward a more contemporary, flexible visual language tailored to digital environments. The graphic system incorporates a highly legible geometric typeface, a dynamic color palette, and visual elements inspired by pixels, an element that symbolically connects with the technology and educational innovation that define ProFuturo’s value proposition. The new visual universe combines clarity, dynamism, and approachability through photography centered on real stories and a consistent visual system across all of the brand’s channels.
Furthermore, the new brand architecture highlights the partnership between Fundación Telefónica and Fundación ‘la Caixa’, which have driven the program since its inception in 2016, and their shared commitment to quality education as a driver of development and social cohesion.
ProFuturo is an example of how European philanthropic cooperation can drive global solutions to reduce educational and future employability gaps through technological innovation.
