ProFuturo helps children and teachers develop the skills needed to learn and teach in the digital age. Evaluations and studies carried out show significant improvements in learning, motivation and the integration of technology in schools.

Evidence of impact on pupils

External evaluations, based on standardised national tests, show solid and statistically significant improvements in maths and literacy scores in schools participating in ProFuturo.

The data show progress in learning and in teachers’ professional development. However, the true impact of ProFuturo goes beyond the figures: it is reflected in students who are becoming more motivated and regaining confidence in their ability to learn, and in teachers who are discovering new ways of teaching.

Evidence of impact on teachers

ProFuturo has enabled 1.8 million teachers to receive training in the pedagogical use of technology, enhancing their professional development and personal empowerment. Evaluations show that ProFuturo consistently contributes to improving teachers’ digital competence, particularly when participation in training is sustained over time. Teachers who complete several training courses show significant progress towards more advanced levels of integration and pedagogical transformation, whilst those without training show little improvement.
