Have you heard about the new ProFuturo Observatory web page?

The ProFuturo Observatory, the webspace where we promote debate and reflections on the current state of digital education around the world, has presented a renewed version in order to improve the user experience and provide a dynamic portal with the latest educational innovations.

In addition to last year’s incorporations, such as the “Conversations with experts” section on the world of education, there’s a new section devoted to all the contributors, who take part in the preparation of contents with their experience and knowledge, and a “recommender” that enables readers to find other people who might be interested in the articles they’ve just read.

However, the main new feature focuses on the deployment of five categories that classify the Observatory’s content: 

1. Approaches: This reflects on concepts and theories related to digital socio-educational interventions in vulnerable environments, including their impact on public policies.
2. 21st-century skills: This focuses on what’s relevant to teaching and learning in the 21st century in vulnerable environments (usefulness, barriers and enablers).
3. Innovative solutions: This analyses digital educational innovation solutions: resources, platforms, contents and methodologies, including evaluations of results and/or the impacts of the solutions.
4. Inspirational experiences: This examines specific experiences and projects that exemplify the application of innovative solutions, focusing on lessons learnt and good practices, as they can serve as inspiration to others.
5. Trends: This proposes a discussion on trends and disruptive proposals in digital education.
