Helping vulnerable children dream big

He could have ended up in any gang on the streets of Medellín. Still, he ended up creating a company that develops cutting-edge technology to help teachers change the lives of children like him. His “inventions” generate magic and excitement, which are the fuse that ignites children’s desire to learn and dream big.

Founder, together with his partner and childhood friend, of Aulas Amigas and Tomi Digital, companies from which they deliver technology solutions that allow girls, boys, and young people to be at the forefront of global education. He was named the best Colombian entrepreneur under 35 by MIT Technology Review magazine, and TOMi was one of the winning startups in the second edition of #CallProFuturoWayra, the call launched by ProFuturo together with Wayra, Telefónica’s open innovation hub, to identify innovative projects that contribute to addressing technological and educational challenges in vulnerable environments.
