The “networked” teacher
Once upon a time, a teacher could not find her students in the classroom: “Physically, they were there, but mentally, they were far away, in another world.” So the teacher, who loved to learn from her students, began to trust them to share with her about the world they were in. What she discovered left her fascinated: “I found that the student who was quiet, silent, in the digital world was a gamer, a creator, an influencer… And I began to include him in my teaching”. Today, her students call her Miss Twitter or the “networked teacher, “… And she, delighted, has made the classroom a place where the digital world, especially social networks, are part of her daily teaching practice.
