Teach for All/ Empieza por Educar

Suppose the best private companies in the world are in the business of recruiting the best students to universities. So why can’t education do the same? In that spirit, Texan Wendy Kopp created Teach for America in the early 1990s, an organisation to recruit the best talent for education. Her idea caught on so well that the organisation is now present in 61 countries through autonomous national organisations that, under the umbrella of Teach for All, have recruited and trained more than 100,000 university students to transform education and end educational inequalities through collective leadership. Teach for All trains these young people, outstanding professionals in various subjects, and encourages them to change education as they undertake two years of teaching in schools in vulnerable environments and communities.

ProFuturo has partnered with Teach for All to support the professional development of more than 15,000 teachers in Liberia, Nigeria, and Tanzania.
