Since ProFuturo was born in July 2016, a total of 10 million children in 34 countries of Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia have benefited from the digital education programme implemented by Telefónica Foundation and “la Caixa”. Its objective: reduce the education and digital gap in the world through technology. During these three years, ProFuturo has also trained more than 300,000 teachers and has reached agreements with governments and local partners to assure the scalability and sustainability of the programme, which aspires to reach 25 million children by 2030.
