ProFuturo has received the EL ESPAÑOL Leones Award in the solidarity category, presented on December 11 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid. The general director, Magdalena Brier, accepted the award on behalf of the organization, together with Luis Prendes Arroyo, general director of Fundación Telefónica, and Emilia Jordi Tubella, director of the Education and Scholarships Area of Fundación “La Caixa”. This award highlights the importance of ProFuturo in the fight for quality education in vulnerable environments globally.

The “Los Leones” awards are a prestigious tradition of EL ESPAÑOL that honours outstanding personalities in various areas, including business, sports and solidarity. This year, the ceremony brought together leading figures who have left a significant mark in their respective fields. Among the winners are Antonio Huertas, CEO of Mapfre; Rudy Fernández, renowned basketball player; and the prominent Olympic walkers María Pérez and Álvaro Martín.
