The Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and the ProFuturo Race presented in the Movistar Area of the Telefónica building in Gran Vía the new official Joma t-shirts that all those registered for the April 6 event will receive when they collect their numbers.
The t-shirts, made of top-level technical fabric, have been designed by Joma and can be worn by the more than 22,000 registered for the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and more than 1,400 registered for the ProFuturo Race. They were presented by Gregorio Ramírez, general director of Sports of the Madrid City Council; Magdalena Brier, general director of ProFuturo; Rocío Rey, sponsorship manager of Telefónica; and Eduardo Ajuria, chairman of the Marathon Sports Group.
The first athletes to debut it today at the official presentation were Jasmine Domínguez, from the Marathon Sports Group, and Lorenzo Albaladejo, the best athlete with cerebral palsy in the history of Spain in speed events.
These official t-shirts are designed by Joma to take runners’ performance to the next level, combining innovation and functionality in every detail that makes it up. Made principally with a high quality fabric along with an elastic component, it achieves a balance between lightness and flexibility. Thanks to its ultralight and highly breathable fabric, it guarantees exceptional comfort at all times, even in the most demanding conditions. Its excellent breathability allows optimal air ventilation, while the MICRO-MESH SYSTEM panels, strategically located in the armpits and sides, maximize this quality. These panels not only seek to improve ventilation, but also regulate the runner’s body temperature, keeping the skin cool and dry, and reducing fatigue in moments that require greater demands during the race.
Likewise, it has heat-sealed seams in key areas that eliminate any rubbing or discomfort that may occur, ensuring total freedom of movement and without any type of restriction.
The Movistar Madrid Half Marathon race, and its solidarity sister, the ProFuturo Race, are organized by the Marathon Sports Group, Atresmedia and Sport Life Ibérica, with the main sponsorship of Movistar and with the institutional support of the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid.
