The year 2025 marked a year of consolidation for the partnership in Peru between Comprometidos con la Educación and American Tower Corporation (ATC), with key advances in teacher training and the achievement of a progressive and sustainable rollout in schools recently added to the program, reaching 7,021 students and 421 teachers.
This reach is part of the joint global efforts of both organizations, which in 2025 reached 36,773 students, 1,852 teachers, and 97 schools across the 7 countries where they work together: Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, and Nigeria.
Along with teacher training and technical and pedagogical support—both virtual and in-person—to strengthen digital skills and support the integration of technology into learning, the current year brings new challenges for the partnership in Peru, including a pilot program to reinforce pedagogical support focused on mathematics in 10 schools.

Joining Forces Since 2023
In December 2023, American Tower Corporation (ATC) and the ProFuturo Foundation (PF) signed an agreement to collaborate in numerous schools across Latin America and Africa. Since then, this collaboration has expanded, growing from an initial target of 44 schools to a total of 50 educational centers in Chile, Colombia, and Kenya. In just one year, more than 14,000 students and 600 teachers benefited from the partnership. Beyond the numbers, the true impact lies in how the initiative has transformed classrooms, empowering teachers and sparking enthusiasm for learning in communities that faced technological limitations.
Additionally, in August 2024, both organizations agreed to expand the project’s scope by incorporating new countries and extending activities beyond the provision of technological equipment, also including an evaluation component through the conduct of qualitative studies and annual local meetings to strengthen the implementation of the joint project.
Committed to Education is currently being implemented in Peru in partnership with the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP) as its primary strategic ally, and with an implementation strategy that integrates elements that impact educational quality in a comprehensive or modular manner, depending on the needs of the context and the level of each school.
