Axel Rivas

Changing education through research and teaching

With a PhD in Social Sciences and trained in Buenos Aires and London, Axel Rivas is an Argentinean researcher and teacher recognised for his work in education and public policy. He currently directs the School of Education at the University of San Andrés, is a member of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Education of the Argentinean Government and is the author of several publications and articles that address educational practices and policies, among them, ¿Quien controla el futuro de la educación? (Who controls the future of education?), La construcción de la justicia educativa (The construction of educational justice) or the recent El futuro de la inteligencia artificial en educación en América Latina (The future of artificial intelligence in education in Latin America).
