Blockchain, virtual reality, chatbots, artificial intelligence and robotics are some of the technologies that 135 hackers from six countries and 12 universities have applied in the development of prototypes that tackle technological challenges related to digital education in vulnerable environments, which took place between 22 and 25 November 2022.
It was a race against the clock, with only 48 hours to come up with, design and programme the proposals.

HOW DID THE SECOND EDITION GO?

HOW DID THE SECOND EDITION GO?

The second edition of #hack4edu, held for the second consecutive year and for the first time in a hybrid format, has given rise to various projects promoted by university students that put digital innovation at the service of the common good, with a particular focus on improving educational quality and reducing the educational gap in the most vulnerable areas of the planet. Over three days in November 2021, 130 hackers from six countries and 12 Spanish and Latin American universities worked in multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid format to come up with solutions to the challenges of digital education.
